- Is bespoke and expressive type design more effective in communication than standardised type design?
- Is one-off, contemporary type design better for communication?
Peer Feedback:
- The last one is good as it's shorter and feels as though it narrows down the focus more.
- "effective" is better than using "better"
- Any of the q's involving "bespoke" makes more sense than "expressionist" so can possibly just narrow it down to bespoke
- "Expressionist" makes it clear that it's about creative typefaces because standardised typefaces can be "bespoke" too
Reflection:
I think he last option for a title does sound best as it's shorter however I feel as though it misses the comparison point - there's no specification to what the "one-off, contemporary" type is better than. I also think "bespoke" represents what I'm exploring a lot more than "one-off" and agree that it's best as it suggests the focus on typefaces that were created specifically for a project.
I think the title
"Is expressive and bespoke type design more effective in communication than standardised type?"
is most effective as I think it's important to include the word "expressive" as standardised type can be bespoke, and I am focusing on typefaces that fall within the 'Expressionist' style.
